God’s Provision for Normal Christian Living by Robert Ketcham and published by Classics Publications.
When God asks someone to perform a particular and specific task, He supplies all that it needed to do what He desires. This book emphasizes three truths.
* The Lord Jesus Christ in the believer’s life;
* The Bible as God’s inspired Word equal to the very words of Christ as God’s incarnate Word;
* And the Holy Spirit as the believer’s guide and power.
The author seeks to explain that our understanding of the armour of God is basically the putting on of Christ Himself.
He also
presents the Holy Spirit as the possessor of the believer’s body even in death until resurrection. He stresses the fact the victorious Christian life, is available to all believers, not just the extraordinary ones. It is an active relationship which is “Christ living His life, through a purchased body.”
This challenging book shows that all Christians should make use of “God’s Provision for Normal Christian Living.”
