Abraham stands out in human history as one of the greatest personalities. It was the Apostle James who said that Abraham was "called a Friend of God. Abraham was great through his faith, and that faith was at first but a silver thread, a tiny streak, an insignificant sinew. But wherever faith is, it is the link with Omnipotence, the channel for Divine Communication; the wire along which the fire of heaven may travel. As it is used according to the promptings of the Divine Spirit, it will grow. It grew in Abraham and it will grow in us.
