Great as was the influence of C H Spurgeon’s preaching, it may be questioned whether the influence of his printed sermons was not greater. Publication was begun after he came to London, and was continued after his death, so spanning the years 1855 – 1907 they are contained in 63 volumes. In order to give readers the opportunity of enjoying some scriptural treasures, by C H Spurgeon, of one of the greatest preachers, six of his best sermons are printed in this book.
