Within this volume there are a series of messages on each one of the One Hundred and Fifty Psalms, which were originally broadcast over the Radio in New York.
In February 1934 Erling C. Olsen began a series of broadcasts devoted to meditations and addresses on the Psalms. At the beginning he spoke on what were known as the most familiar Psalms, but the series blessed was so much that he went back and covered every one of the Psalms. These addresses were prepared not only for Christians in order that their faith and joy in the Lord might be stimulated, but that the gospel should be clearly presented in every address so that the unsaved might know the way of salvation.
The broadcasts were so warmly received by the listeners, that the individual messages were printed separately, but later, the messages were collated, and they were arranged in the actual sequence of the Psalms as in the Bible.
