The Person of Christ, Volume 01 – The Doctrine by H Brash Bonsall.
The purpose of these volumes has been to introduce to the average non-academic person the field of New Testament scholarship, and to explain to the reader its terms and methods. This will provide a firm foundation for their studies in the Scripture or further studies in higher education. This, the first volume in the series concerning the Person of Christ, has as its focus, the Doctrine of Christ Jesus and designed to help the reader grasp some elementary theological principles concerning the Person of Christ.
Within the book, the instructions of the doctrine of Christ, is combined with Bible study to help the reader see how the scriptures give their own answers to every theological question which is posed. It is designed to aid the reader to go to the Bible with every problem and to trace every doctrine down to the soil from where it came. Each chapter is complete in itself, containing much spiritual truth. Through this material the reader will also grasp that when theology is divorced from the Christian experience and / or scripture it can be a soul-destroying process, however when it is related and based in both it can be a means of grace.
