As the Germans invade Denmark, Baron Ahlefeldt exchanges his title for a secret identity. American-born physicist Dr. Else Jensen refuses to flee Copenhagen, remaining to print resistance newspapers. She catches wind of a "merman" spy. Could he be the mysterious reclusive stranger sharing her boarding house? Will she learn there's sometimes more power in silence than in speech?
