Someone has said, “The prophet is his message.” George Bowen was that! Few men appear to have had so clear a revelation of divine love. Impelled by compassion, soon after his arrival in India as a missionary, he relinquished his salary and lived most frugally in that needy land for almost forty years. Such was his devotion that he never returned to his native America.
“Love Revealed” is a truly inspired, verse by verse meditation on the blessed words and actions of the Lord Jesus the night before His crucifixion as recounted in John’s Gospel, chapters 13 – 17. No true child of God could read these illuminated observations without loving Jesus more ardently and thanking the Father more wholeheartedly for His “Unspeakable Gift.”
