The British Josiah: Edward VI - The most Godly king of England

The King History Forgot He was spoken of as an 'angel in a human body' by those who knew him best.

His godly life-style and his delight in the Scriptures from the time he was a child created the impression that he was indeed a superior person. He was referred to as 'the British Josiah' during his lifetime and long after.

Like the Bible King Josiah, while he was yet young, he began to seek the God of David his Father.

Both - Josiah the king of Judah and the British Josiah - in the early years moved against the prevailing idolatry.
