The contents of this book which are a series meditations on The Song of Solomon were more the “expressions of the author’s feelings” rather that an attempt at exposition when they were first written. In this, the second edition of the work, the writer has not thought it appropriate to alter a single word. As such the words remain as a “memorial” of his experience of that time. Andrew Miller writes “I can truly thank the Lord for any measure of communion with Him that is traceable in these pages. That He may continue to bless this little book to many precious souls is my most earnest desire.”
