Due to its decisively Jewish character, the Book of James has often been either neglected or ignored by the Lord’s people. Some have felt that its content contradicts other portions of the New Testament and have question its inclusion in Holy Scripture.
However, the Christian cannot pass over this crucial book of God’s word, without harming an important section of scripture. James presents a much needed emphasis on the practical outworking of our spiritual life and it teaches us of the conduct which is appropriate to one who professes to belong to Christ.
The world desperately needs to see visible and tangible demonstrations of God’s love and power in the Church. This well out-lined and carefully reasoned exposition will both challenge and instruct towards that end.
