James Alexander Stewart, Evangelist and Preacher, from 1938 to 1947 he preached throughout Poland, Austria, Greece, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Carpatho-Ruthenia, (now Ukraine) and Germany. From 1939 to 1940 he made frequent trips to Yugoslavia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Rumania, and Bessarabia. Similar endeavours characterized the work of the Stewart until almost the moment that World War 2 erupted and in fact James Stewart just about managed to escape the invading Germans.
The book recalls James Stewart's missionary work in war-torn Europe from 12th March until 12th July 1939 which covered Germany, Hungary, Rumania, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Serbia and how the Spirit of Christ was moving and working in these areas.
