This book is a series of sermons which John R Rice preached at various conferences on the theme of Soul Winning. The desire of the author in publishing these messages is that the Lord will sent out people “into the fields which are white for harvest” and bring in harvest which is both plenty and great.
John R Rice had a huge passion to see the lost won for Christ and was convinced that one of the greatest tragedies that can befall a believer is when they have no holy compassion or no tears for lost sinners. The great need today, as it is for every age, is for believers to enter into the sufferings of Jesus and “stand in the gap” to keep our nations, our families, our children and our neighbours from judgement and hell.
