Noble Martyrs of Kent by George Anderson Miller and published by Classics.
From poor butchers and brickmakers to bishops (and even an Archbishop), drawn from both young and old, the Reformation saw many men and women called upon to make a stand for the truths presented in the Bible. This little book contains brief accounts of the Kentish Martyrs who preferred to give their lives as martyrs rather than surrender the Bible and it’s doctrines that they loved.
We live in a generation which has largely forgotten the past. It is hoped that the publication of this little book will teach the lessons of history to another generation, remind those who have forgotten the struggle for the Church during the Reformation and will also act as a useful resource for those interested in this fateful period of history.
