The purpose of this book is to demonstrate from the Bible that hell and its punishment is not a temporary or an “age only” state, but an eternal state.As a Greek scholar T J McCrossan shows how the original language whole-heartedly supports this view. Written in the late 1930’s the author was aware, at that time, 100’s of ministers of all denominations as well as thousands of people in the pews do not believe in Hell with an eternal punishment for all who finally reject the Lord Jesus Christ. Since the first publication of this book, this view has not changed and “has grown and developed in many different ways...” however, McCrossan’s work is still an antidote for this belief and type of thinking.
