The One Hundred Texts by T C Hammond and published by Classics.
The One Hundred Texts were originally put together for use in Bible clubs for children. Although these were designed for use amongst Roman Catholic children, they are suitable for teaching all children basic Gospel truths and can be used in Sundays Schools, Adult Bible Study Group or even for preparation for Sermons and Bible Studies.
The Texts with the accompanying sets of Questions and Answers on designed to illustrate the method of single-text teaching, which has been adopted with success by the Society of the Irish Church (Now known as Irish Church Missions).
The questions and answers are not intended to be memorised they are merely guides to the teacher who, at their discretion, breaks up the teaching contained into a simpler form. A careful examination of the Texts will reveal that the principal doctrines of the Christian faith are presented in a short form.
