Contained in this book are some of the many devotional articles and letter written by Taylor in the early years of the China Inland Mission. (Now OMF) These letters and articles edited by Marshall Broomhall show someone who experienced a real daily adventure in this Christian life. His life was one which we can readily identify has possessing the authentic stamp of reality rather than mere theory. These writings where discovered in out of print publications, unpublished letters and in obscure corners of larger works. It is a moving and thoughtful daily devotional work that has been in constant print since it was first published.
